TL;DR
Developer Advocate (Service Management EMEA) (Service Management/DevOps): Building demos, documentation, presentations, and integrations that help engineering teams improve incident response, on-call operations, and operational automation with an accent on service-management practices, observability, and community education. Focus on translating complex production and organizational challenges into technical content, partnering with product engineering teams, and contributing feedback, documentation, or code.

What you will do
- Act as a subject matter expert on incident response, on-call operations, internal developer platforms, work management, workflow automation, Agent Builder, and operational automation.
- Create demos, blog posts, documentation, webinars, talks, research reports, open-source contributions, and other technical content.
- Partner with product engineering teams to build compelling demos and coach engineers on communication and presentations.
- Engage with open-source communities to communicate product messaging and develop new integrations.
- Provide product feedback through bug reports, enhancement suggestions, documentation, and code.
Requirements
- Approximately 5+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Software Developer.
- Hands-on experience with on-call work, incident response, and production systems in complex IT environments.
- Strong understanding of incident response, on-call operations, post-incident reviews, and SLOs, using tools such as Datadog, PagerDuty, Opsgenie, incident.io, Rootly, Jira Cloud Platform, or Cortex.
- Approximately 2+ years of experience creating technical content, presenting at conferences, leading workshops, streaming or recording videos, contributing to open source, or participating in community events.
- Publicly available technical writing samples, demos, blog posts, or presentation recordings.
- Comfort with at least one scripting or programming language, such as Node, Python, Go, or Bash, plus familiarity with APIs, IaaS cloud services, and containers.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow or Jira Service Management.
- Active participation in SRE, DevOps, or incident-response communities.
