What you will do
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements, environmental permits, internal standards, and ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and 50001 requirements.
- Develop and implement initiatives that strengthen the Zero & Beyond safety culture across the plant.
- Communicate HSE requirements through safety talks, alerts, observations, and engagement with employees, management, and regulatory agencies.
- Lead near-miss and incident investigations, follow up on corrective actions, and capture lessons learned.
- Conduct HSE audits, inspections, risk assessments, and 6S activities.
- Manage safety training, emergency preparedness, response exercises, and HSE performance reporting.
Requirements
- Proven HSE Specialist experience in a production environment, preferably in complex manufacturing.
- In-depth knowledge of safety and environmental regulations, risk management, emergency response, and safety management systems.
- Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001; ISO 9001 and ISO 50001 experience is advantageous.
- Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Excellent written and spoken German and English are required.
Nice to have
- Internal Auditor certification.
- Experience conducting integrated audit programs.
- Experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 50001.
