Field Technician (Cable)

Location: Nampa, Idaho, United States; field-based work at residential and business properties

Salary: Up to $19 per hour in total base compensation plus bonus, based on the national average. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

What you will do

• Install customer service drops and outlets at residential and business properties.
• Use electronic test equipment and online diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and repair reception and service issues.
• Verify upstream and downstream signal levels at customer premises.
• Recommend service upgrades and educate customers on new and existing equipment.
• Work in the field, drive company vehicles, and perform additional duties supporting customers and business operations.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license in the state of application and a good driving record.
• At least three months of customer service or related experience and/or training; equivalent education and experience are acceptable.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work overtime and on-call shifts as needed.
• Ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, lift up to 80 pounds, and work in all weather conditions.
• Regular and predictable attendance, strong problem-solving skills, and a positive customer-service approach.
