Site Reliability Engineer, Traffic Infrastructure (Networking): Own the full request path from CDN edge and anycast VIPs through load balancers and service mesh components to production services, with an accent on large-scale networking, Linux diagnostics, and traffic reliability. Focus on moving proxy and CDN configuration into code, investigating cross-layer failures, planning capacity and failover procedures, and leading incident response for high-volume traffic infrastructure.
Location: Tel Aviv, Israel; hybrid schedule with 3 days in-office.

What you will do
- Own the full request path from CDN configuration and TLS termination through load-balancing policy, service mesh components, and failover behavior.
- Move proxy and CDN configuration into code with review, testing, and staged production rollouts.
- Lead cross-layer investigations spanning anycast routing, reverse proxies, networking, and upstream services.
- Plan capacity and traffic-draining procedures so the loss of a point of presence or data center remains invisible to users.
- Participate in on-call rotations, lead incident response, and implement permanent fixes from post-mortems.
Requirements
- 5+ years operating internet-facing traffic infrastructure at very large scale.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, anycast, ECMP, DNS-based traffic steering, TCP, TLS, HTTP/2, and HTTP/3.
- Production ownership of L7 proxies such as Nginx, HAProxy, or Envoy/Istio, including configuration at scale and performance tuning.
- Experience with a commercial CDN such as Fastly, Cloudflare, Akamai, or CloudFront, including edge logic, cache policy, and origin protection.
- Strong Linux networking and packet-level diagnosis skills using tcpdump, conntrack, nftables/iptables, and socket and TCP tuning.
- Coding ability for building tooling, plus deep Kubernetes networking knowledge covering CNI internals, kube-proxy, ingress, and east-west traffic policy.
