What you will do

• Evaluate, architect, and design the embedded operating system core and distribution layer.
• Develop and maintain Linux core functionality, OS variants, and abstractions for the application layer.
• Drive operating system spins for modular hardware platforms, including gateways and border routers.
• Develop software tools from scratch and port third-party software.
• Debug functional and performance issues, perform root-cause analysis, and optimize system quality, stability, and performance.
• Support root-of-trust and security architecture, upstream sustainable implementations, and contribute to continuous product and process improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, telecommunications, or equivalent training.
• Expertise in the Embedded Linux ecosystem, including the kernel, systemd, connectivity, and services.
• Advanced experience with OpenEmbedded and the Yocto Project build system.
• Advanced skills in C, C++, Python, and Bash.
• Familiarity with Bluetooth, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi, plus experience in hardware development.
• Excellent English language skills in reading, writing, and speaking. Ability to read hardware schematics and datasheets and use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and bus protocol analyzers.
