User Guidance Lead (AI): Leading a hands-on team that builds accurate, reusable product knowledge for customers, internal teams, and AI-powered experiences with an accent on technical writing, structured content, information architecture, and machine-consumable documentation. Focus on integrating guidance into product development, enabling AI retrieval across knowledge bases, APIs and MCP, and using analytics to improve discoverability and impact.
Location: Helsinki, Finland; hybrid work with 3 days per week in the Helsinki office. Remote work is available as part of the hybrid model, with the option to work abroad for up to 30 days annually.

What you will do
- Lead and develop a small User Guidance team while remaining hands-on.
- Own the strategy, quality, structure, and evolution of the customer-facing Knowledge Base.
- Embed User Guidance into the product development lifecycle in partnership with Product and Engineering.
- Expand guidance into video, contextual, in-product, developer documentation, API, and MCP experiences.
- Use analytics and customer behaviour to identify knowledge gaps, prioritize improvements, and measure impact.
- Make product knowledge accurate, reusable, and accessible to customers, support systems, AI tools, and agentic experiences.
Requirements
- Strong experience in technical writing, content design, user guidance, developer documentation, or knowledge management in a software or SaaS environment.
- Experience leading people or a small content or documentation function.
- Strong understanding of information architecture and structured content.
- Experience collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Design teams and translating technical concepts for different audiences.
- Experience with modern documentation platforms, workflows, and analytics for measuring documentation performance.
- Excellent written and spoken English and availability to work 3 days per week from the Helsinki office.
Nice to have
- Interest in how LLMs, retrieval, APIs, MCP, and AI agents change product documentation.
- Experience improving content creation, review, and maintenance with AI.
