Senior Financial Analyst – Plant Controlling (Geel site)

Location: Geel, Antwerp, Belgium; full-time role at a manufacturing site

Base pay: €72,500–€115,230 per year

What you will do

• Partner with functional leaders and cross-functional teams to provide forward-looking financial analysis and decision support.
• Own financial performance management for operating expenses, absorption, and headcount.
• Lead annual business planning, quarterly forecasting updates, risk and opportunity assessments, and corporate submissions.
• Coordinate quarterly close and management reporting, including variance explanations and recommendations.
• Support investment decisions, resource allocation, financial modeling, scenario analysis, standard costing, and manufacturing cost improvement.
• Drive finance process standardization, automation, analytics, internal controls, and audit compliance.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• 3–6 years of relevant finance experience in a complex, multinational environment.
• Strong capabilities in financial analysis, planning, forecasting, management reporting, and business partnering.
• Knowledge of cost accounting, standard costing, internal controls, and capital investment analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with working knowledge of SAP or a comparable ERP platform.
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or pharmaceuticals.
• Experience with TM1, CFIN, Anaplan, Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, or other business-intelligence tools.
• Experience with finance transformation, AI acceleration, or process improvement initiatives.
