What you will do
- Set technical direction and influence architecture across teams, focusing on scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Design and evolve cloud-based systems that combine performance-sensitive applications with AI-driven capabilities.
- Drive high-impact technical initiatives and align engineering work with product and business goals.
- Balance performance, cost, and user experience in complex design and simulation workflows.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver user outcomes.
- Share knowledge, mentor engineers, and strengthen technical capability across the organization.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience building cloud-based, user-facing systems.
- Proven experience driving architectural or technical decisions beyond a single team.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across disciplines and seniority levels.
- Experience with Agentic AI.
- Ability to work autonomously, navigate ambiguity, and influence strategic decisions across squads or domains.
- Expertise in multiple technologies or recognized domain expertise, with a focus on reliable and observable production systems.
Nice to have
- Experience with TypeScript, serverless architectures, and AWS.
- Background in large-scale systems or platform development.
- Experience in cross-functional, international product teams.
- Experience with 3D graphics, WebGL, WebGPU, or real-time browser rendering.
- Experience with computational geometry, spatial algorithms, or CAD/BIM data models.
