Data Operations Analyst (E-commerce Data)

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria; hybrid model with 3 days working from home and 2 days from the office.

Salary: €1,450–€1,650 per month.

What you will do

• Build and maintain data extractors for parsing e-receipts using proprietary markup language and RegEx.
• Debug, fine-tune, and validate extraction templates with SQL and BI tools.
• Perform data quality checks and investigate anomalies in transactional data.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, build dashboards, and prepare reports for client-facing teams.
• Identify automation opportunities and improve operational workflows and tools.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and client-facing teams while maintaining clear documentation.

Requirements

• Initial experience through internships or projects in data operations, analytics, or technology.
• Basic SQL skills, including querying data, understanding table relationships, and interpreting complex queries.
• Logical and analytical thinking, strong attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
• Fluent English required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or another BI tool.
• Knowledge of e-commerce data, Snowflake, or Databricks.
• Experience in QA or data validation.
• Familiarity with HTML, XML, RegEx, scripting or markup languages, and agile environments.
