Crypto Compliance Officer – Monitoring (Blockchain)

What you will do

• Review and validate digital asset deposits and withdrawals from an AML/CTF perspective.
• Conduct crypto due diligence and blockchain investigations involving alerts, wallets, counterparties, and high-risk activities.
• Assess and document clients’ digital asset-related Source of Funds and Source of Wealth.
• Identify and escalate suspicious activity and sanctions-related exposure.
• Contribute to regulatory projects, internal policies, procedures, and process improvements for digital assets.
• Support employee training and respond to information requests from regulators, counterparties, and FINMA.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Law or Economics, or equivalent relevant AML/CTF experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in AML/CTF compliance or a similar digital assets role within a financial institution.
• Experience with blockchain analysis, crypto due diligence, Source of Funds and Source of Wealth assessments, and financial crime risks.
• Experience with Lukka, TRM Labs, Chainalysis, or equivalent blockchain analytics tools.
• Knowledge of Swiss AML laws, including AMLA, AMLO-FINMA, and CDB.
• Excellent English and French required. Strong analytical, writing, documentation, multitasking, and teamwork skills.
