What you will do
- Own the technical development of Lipsy soft separates across multiple product categories.
- Drive fit sessions, sealing procedures, product approvals, and compliance with technical standards.
- Conduct risk assessments, fabric testing, and test report evaluations, advising on solutions for failed fabrics or yarns.
- Work with Buying, Design, suppliers, and internal teams to manage quality assurance and product development.
- Benchmark products against competitors and industry innovation, recommending improvements to products, components, policies, and processes.
- Resolve quality issues cost-effectively while ensuring products meet legal, health, safety, and customer requirements.
Requirements
- Relevant experience as a Garment Technologist across womenswear, preferably within a high street fashion retailer.
- Experience with fabric testing and test report evaluation across multiple product categories.
- Experience working with a broad supply base, including overseas suppliers.
- Proficiency in Excel and comfort using internal systems.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with colleagues and suppliers at all levels.
- Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
