TL;DR
Data Analyst I (Healthcare Data): Monitoring and troubleshooting healthcare data file exchanges, EDI transactions, and eligibility files with an accent on data quality, SFTP workflows, and ANSI 5010 transactions. Focus on identifying root causes, validating data against business requirements, and coordinating technical resolutions with engineering and operations teams.

What you will do
- Monitor file exchanges between clients, vendors, and internal systems.
- Identify and resolve errors in SFTP connections, import/export files, and eligibility files.
- Analyze and troubleshoot EDI transactions related to enrollment changes and EDI setup.
- Coordinate EDI testing, implementations, upgrades, and technical issue resolution with engineering partners.
- Validate reports and data files against documented business requirements to identify quality gaps.
- Communicate task and issue status to end users, the Team Lead, and the DataOps Manager.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in system analysis, data analysis, or process improvement.
- At least 1 year of experience in the healthcare industry.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with CSV and pipe-delimited flat-file structures.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Knowledge of the healthcare and TPA industry is preferred; experience with ANSI 5010 transactions, including 837, 835, 834, and 270/271, is also preferred.
