TL;DR
DevOps / Platform Engineer (FinTech) (AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform): Owning and evolving the shared infrastructure and delivery platform for financial services with an accent on cloud infrastructure, security, CI/CD, and observability. Focus on building self-service tooling, improving reliability through disaster recovery and incident response, and operating scalable production systems handling sensitive data.
Location: Hybrid work from the Vilnius office or home in Lithuania
Salary: Starting from €4,000 gross per month, based on experience

What you will do
- Own and evolve AWS infrastructure managed with Terraform across all environments.
- Operate Kubernetes, databases, caches, messaging, networking, IAM, and other shared platform services.
- Own CI/CD pipelines, deployment standards, reusable golden-path templates, and self-service tooling.
- Manage monitoring, logging, tracing, dashboards, alerting, SLOs, restore testing, disaster recovery, and capacity planning.
- Manage platform security, including access, secrets, vulnerability scanning, patching, certificates, and least-privilege controls.
- Lead or participate in infrastructure incidents, monitor cloud costs, and improve delivery and reliability metrics.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Terraform, including existing or brownfield infrastructure.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD; Azure DevOps Pipelines experience is useful, but comparable tooling is acceptable.
- Experience operating production infrastructure handling sensitive, financial, or personal data.
- Experience with databases and managed services, including RDS failover, proxying, backups, and restore testing.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, IAM, security, monitoring, incident response, and observability.
- Business-level English communication fluency and the ability to explain infrastructure concepts clearly to developers.
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, banking, payments, or another regulated environment, including audit support.
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, self-hosted internal tooling, disaster recovery, and RTO/RPO requirements.
