Focus on assessing worker and family needs, coordinating workshops and support programs, managing documentation and case records, and assisting with visa, mobilisation and return-preparation activities.
Location: Suva, Fiji; onsite, full-time until 30 June 2027

What you will do
- Support implementation of Fiji’s Labour Mobility Reintegration Program, including needs assessments, workshops and awareness initiatives.
- Assist returned workers and their families with referrals, employment, business, financial management and livelihood plans.
- Build relationships with government agencies, financial institutions, NGOs, community organisations, training providers and other stakeholders.
- Provide guidance on Australian superannuation entitlements and withdrawal procedures, and maintain enquiry and outcome records.
- Support family accompaniment, visa and travel requirements, pre-departure briefings, mobilisation, welfare, demobilisation and return preparation.
- Maintain documentation and records, and contribute to case management, monitoring, evaluation, reporting and stakeholder engagement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, community development, social sciences, economics, public administration, business administration, international development, human services, social work or a related field.
- At least three years of professional experience in program coordination, worker welfare, community development, reintegration, social services, migration, labour mobility, financial inclusion or a related area.
- Experience supporting vulnerable individuals, families or communities and working with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in project implementation, reporting, workshops, training programs and stakeholder consultations.
- Clear written and spoken English is required. Strong analytical, planning, organisational and client-service skills are expected.
- Confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and database systems.
Nice to have
- Experience in labour mobility, migration, employment or workforce development programs.
- Knowledge of worker reintegration, family welfare, financial literacy, superannuation systems and Australian labour mobility programs.
- Experience living, studying or working in Australia or New Zealand.
- Ability to communicate in iTaukei and/or Fiji Hindi.
