Operations & Service Delivery Lead (Defence & Aerospace)

Location: Hybrid role based at the Homebush, NSW site, Australia; occasional national and international travel may be required.

What you will do

• Lead a small team of Project Controllers and oversee project governance, scheduling, and reporting.
• Monitor project performance, forecasting, cost control, and portfolio reporting.
• Lead workforce planning, resource allocation, and capacity management across projects and operations.
• Provide project and operational analysis for business planning and decision-making.
• Coordinate with customers, stakeholders, project teams, service providers, and operational teams to support successful delivery.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across project control and operational processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, project management, engineering, facilities management, or a related discipline.
• At least 7 years of experience in operations, service delivery, project controls, project management, or business operations.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders, with proven leadership and team development experience.
• Experience in project governance, reporting, planning, and performance management.
• Ability to work from the Homebush, NSW site.
• Australian Citizenship and eligibility to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance are required.

Nice to have

• PMP, PRINCE2, APMP, or Agile Project Management certification.
• Lean Six Sigma certification.
• Experience with Planisware, MS Project, SAP, Oracle, SharePoint, and Power BI.
• Experience in defence, aerospace, aviation, engineering, or technology sectors.
