GS Electrical System Engineer (Gas Turbine)

What you will do

• Develop and optimize electrical systems for industrial gas turbines in the China market according to hirify.global designs, Chinese codes, and customer requirements.
• Design electrical systems covering low-voltage switchgear, frequency converters, gas turbine control cubicles, generator protection and synchronization, metering, excitation, batteries, cabling, cable trays, and earthing.
• Prepare equipment specifications, configure systems, and produce single-line diagrams, circuit diagrams, and cubicle layouts.
• Support product development, design reviews, FMEA activities, quality improvements, and qualification of China-based suppliers.
• Attend vendor acceptance tests, inspect equipment, and provide technical support to installation and commissioning teams on site when required.
• Support sales and proposals through technical evaluations, electrical scope definition, cost calculations, customer clarifications, and negotiations in China.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a focus on power generation.
• Experience in an electrical engineering department is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, learning, and communication skills.
• Professional fluency in English and Chinese is required for written and verbal communication.
