TL;DR
Senior Data Analyst (Spot) (Crypto/Fintech): Building BI analytics, data models, dashboards, and ETL pipelines for Wealth/Earn, Spot, and Trading Tools products with an accent on user lifecycle analysis, trading activity, product performance, and monetization. Focus on segmenting users, measuring product funnels and experiments, investigating data quality issues, and translating complex financial data into product growth recommendations.
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE or Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

What you will do
- Own BI analytics for Wealth/Earn and Trading Tools, covering product performance, user growth, engagement, retention, trading activity, AUM, and revenue.
- Analyze user lifecycles, product funnels, cross-product journeys, adoption, churn, and conversion across Wealth/Earn, Spot, Derivatives, and Trading Tools.
- Evaluate Wealth/Earn products and trading tools such as Trading Bots, Grid/DCA strategies, Copy Trading, and automated trading features.
- Build dashboards, automated reports, monitoring frameworks, data models, metric definitions, and ETL pipelines.
- Support product launches, campaigns, feature iterations, and A/B tests through experiment design and impact analysis.
- Partner with Product, Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Data Engineering teams to turn analysis into growth, monetization, and portfolio recommendations.
Requirements
- Fluent English and Mandarin, written and spoken.
- 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Product Analytics, or a related role.
- Experience in fintech, financial services, trading platforms, wealth management, brokerage, or digital assets.
- Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python or R.
- Hands-on experience with Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar BI and visualization tools.
- Strong knowledge of funnel analysis, activation, retention, churn, cohort analysis, segmentation, LTV, data quality, and metric consistency.
Nice to have
- Experience with crypto wealth products, including Earn, staking, on-chain yield, or structured products.
- Experience with Spot, Derivatives, Trading Bots, Grid Trading, DCA, Copy Trading, or algorithmic trading.
- Knowledge of trading volume, frequency, liquidity, fees, PnL, strategy performance, and trader retention metrics.
- Experience with A/B testing, statistical analysis, forecasting, causal analysis, or machine learning.
