Senior Software QA Engineer (SaaS)

Location: Taipei City, Taiwan; on-site

Develops large-scale SaaS platforms used by millions of users and thousands of business customers across the APAC region.

What you will do

• Develop a deep understanding of applications and user workflows.
• Design and execute manual test plans, test cases, and release validation analyses.
• Identify functional issues, edge cases, and potential failure scenarios across web, mobile, and API platforms.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze logs and troubleshoot production and staging issues in cloud environments.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and stakeholder teams while mentoring junior QA engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software QA or testing.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test strategies, and release validation.
• Hands-on experience testing web applications, mobile applications, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and SoapUI, and automation frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI, or Travis CI.
• Experience analyzing logs, troubleshooting cloud-based issues, writing SQL queries, and communicating in English with international engineering teams.
