TL;DR
Senior Infrastructure Engineer (AI): Building and operating developer platforms, Kubernetes infrastructure, CI/CD systems, and isolated environments for AI coding agents with an accent on AWS, Terraform, platform automation, and reliability. Focus on designing scalable multi-account infrastructure, implementing workload isolation and security guardrails, and developing internal services and tooling in Go or Python.
Location: Onsite in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia

What you will do
- Design, operate, and evolve large-scale EKS clusters for CI workloads, ephemeral build environments, AI coding agents, and internal tools.
- Build production infrastructure on AWS using reusable Terraform modules across multi-account environments.
- Own GitLab CI and self-hosted runner infrastructure to support secure and reliable software delivery.
- Automate account lifecycle management, IAM, secrets, monitoring, logging, and policy guardrails.
- Develop internal APIs, services, controllers, CLIs, and automation in Go or Python with tests and code review.
- Partner with security, SRE, product engineering, and other stakeholders while leading technical reviews and mentoring engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in platform engineering, infrastructure, or DevOps.
- Experience independently delivering complex infrastructure or platform projects.
- Strong Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, CI/CD, Linux, systems administration, and container expertise.
- Programming experience with Go or Python, including testing and code review.
- Comfort working in a geographically distributed team.
Nice to have
- Experience running AI coding agents or LLM-backed tooling in production.
- Experience writing Kubernetes operators or controllers.
- Knowledge of service mesh, gVisor, Firecracker, or other workload isolation technologies.
- Experience with Sourcegraph, Spinnaker, Ansible, Jenkins, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or Datadog.
