Network Construction Manager - Delaware, So New Jersey and Philadelphia (Metro)

Location: PA - Conshohocken; serving Delaware, Southern New Jersey, and the Philadelphia Metro regions. Travel to client locations and construction sites is required, with up to 40% local travel.

What you will do

• Manage pre-construction, construction, relocation, and closeout activities for outside plant projects.
• Coordinate construction vendors, engineering resources, subcontractors, customers, municipalities, counties, railroads, and rights-of-way contacts.
• Oversee permitting, encroachment approvals, franchise agreements, building access agreements, procurement, bidding, and project documentation.
• Plan and implement fiber connectivity solutions while tracking schedules, budgets, purchase orders, and project closeout activities.
• Provide telecommunications expertise and serve as the primary project interface for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct on-site surveys and field meetings, drive to assigned projects, and perform occasional on-call duties.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of telecommunications industry experience, including outside plant, fiber optics, optical transport equipment, and project management.
• At least 4 years of experience with outside plant construction and large capital projects.
• Working knowledge of structured cabling, routing, switching, and IP protocols.
• Ability to manage multiple aggressive RFP, design, and construction schedules and read construction documents.
• Proven negotiation skills, commercial focus, and familiarity with email, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Earth.
• Valid driver's license required; regular travel, on-site surveys, field meetings, and up to 40% local travel are expected.
