LQA Game Tester (German) - Full Time Onsite

Location: Braga, Portugal; fully onsite, 8:00am–5:00pm Portugal business hours

What you will do

• Test localized games across PC, Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation VR2, mobile, and tablet platforms.
• Identify spelling, grammar, punctuation, translation, cultural, terminology, and imagery issues in German localization.
• Verify missing or incorrect content and the correct display and formatting of dates, calendars, characters, and user interface elements.
• Check compliance with console manufacturer guidelines and ensure localized content is accurate in context.
• Log bugs and language errors, write reports, provide improvement suggestions, and perform ad hoc translation.
• Collaborate with multilingual project teams and contribute to overall project quality.

Requirements

• Fluency in German and conversational English.
• Strong cultural understanding of German-language markets.
• Computer literacy, particularly with Excel.
• Internet research skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Experience using different software, applications, and websites.
• Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate within project teams; no previous experience is required.
