Senior Scale Solution Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Own technical customer engagements from pre-sales evaluation through onboarding and production.
• Advise multiple customers concurrently on the Databricks Data and AI Platform.
• Build and improve reusable AI-augmented workflows for scalable customer guidance.
• Set technical direction and quality standards for the scaled customer motion.
• Assess customer needs, address objections, and demonstrate platform value.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a technical role, preferably in data, AI, or cloud.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Deep knowledge of at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of AI-driven development with Python or SQL, including AI-augmented workflows.
• Understanding of end-to-end data analytics and data engineering workflows and trade-offs.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, prioritization, and time management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience building AI tooling and automation.
• Consulting, pre-sales, or agentic solutions experience.
• Familiarity with more than one cloud platform.
