Growth Engineer

Location: San Francisco or remote within the United States; the posting also specifies on-site work

Salary: $180,000–$220,000 for L4 Mid-level and $220,000–$350,000 for L5 Senior, plus equity.

What you will do

• Own the activation curve across onboarding, first use, and habit formation.
• Design and ship rapid product experiments, interpret results, and scale successful approaches.
• Improve randomization, exposure, instrumentation, and analysis to make experiment results trustworthy.
• Identify and close funnel gaps across platforms in collaboration with product teams.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience improving a funnel metric and explaining the causal impact of the work.
• Experience making evidence-based decisions, including stopping experiments when results do not support them.
• Ability to ship quickly at production quality and iterate through clear product improvements.
• Strong product analytics judgment, including recognizing misleading measurements.
• Ability to take ownership when problems and solutions are ambiguous.

Nice to have

• Experience with product-led growth, experimentation platforms, or SQL.
