Location: Ariana, Tunisia; in-person collaboration is prioritized.

What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable document ingestion and processing pipelines for enterprise knowledge management and AI applications.
- Build multi-stage workflows for extracting, transforming, enriching, classifying, summarizing, chunking, and indexing PDF, PPTX, DOCX, CSV, and image-based content.
- Manage vector database indexing, embeddings, semantic search, and retrieval optimization.
- Develop MCP-compatible tool servers that securely expose databases, APIs, cloud platforms, and external services to AI agents.
- Implement event-driven architectures and scalable data processing solutions using messaging and integration services.
- Create and deploy document intelligence, data analysis, and knowledge retrieval agents while collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, or equivalent education and experience.
- Typically 3+ years of professional Python development and data pipeline engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT workflows and orchestration platforms such as Dagster, Airflow, or equivalent tools.
- Experience with document processing, vector databases, embedding models, semantic search, and retrieval optimization.
- Familiarity with Azure AI Search, Blob Storage, Event Hub, Document Intelligence, or comparable cloud platforms.
- Experience with Docker, REST API design, integration patterns, service-oriented architectures, and scalable ingestion systems.
Nice to have
- Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation architectures and enterprise knowledge management platforms.
- Knowledge of event-driven system design, distributed data processing, AI agent ecosystems, MCP integrations, and data-to-agent architectures.
- Azure, data engineering, artificial intelligence, or cloud technology certifications.
