What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance asynchronous Python APIs with FastAPI, Pydantic, and SQLAlchemy 2.0.
- Lead PostgreSQL schema design, migrations, indexing, partitioning, and query optimization.
- Implement authentication and authorization using RBAC, OAuth2, OIDC, JWT validation, and API gateway policies.
- Define API contracts, versioning strategies, and integration standards for distributed systems.
- Build and maintain AI agents, configure MCP-based tool integrations, and manage LLM routing strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure backend and AI-powered solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Typically 5+ years of professional backend development experience with Python and modern web frameworks.
- Strong experience with asynchronous Python, FastAPI or equivalent frameworks, and modern API design.
- Expertise in PostgreSQL, including schema design, migrations, indexing, partitioning, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, Microsoft Entra ID, and API gateway platforms such as Kong or Apigee.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes fundamentals, CI/CD pipelines, LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and agent orchestration.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI agent frameworks, workflow automation, and MCP integrations.
- Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and modern distributed systems.
- Certifications in cloud technologies, DevOps, cybersecurity, or AI/ML.
