TL;DR
CPO Earth System Science and Modeling (ESSM) Support - NOAA (Earth System Science and Communications): Supporting NOAA ESSM communication, outreach, and engagement through websites, articles, presentations, webinars, newsletters, and meetings with an accent on communicating scientific programs and cross-office activities. Focus on writing and publicizing major accomplishments, coordinating with NOAA divisions and communications offices, and presenting climate science priorities across organizations.
Location: Based out of Silver Spring, Maryland, USA; remote telework is available, with hybrid and in-person work required as needed.

What you will do
- Execute communication, outreach, and engagement activities for NOAA's Earth System Science and Modeling office.
- Manage website content and develop topical articles, presentations, webinars, newsletters, and meeting materials.
- Write and publicize major accomplishments and activities of ESSM programs.
- Coordinate communications with CPO ESSM and CEE divisions, the OAR communications office, and other NOAA line offices.
- Enhance the presentation of cross-OAR and line-office activities in alignment with ESSM priorities.
Requirements
- Experience supporting communications, outreach, and engagement activities.
- Ability to create and manage website content, articles, presentations, webinars, newsletters, and meeting materials.
- Ability to coordinate with scientific program staff and communications offices across NOAA.
- Ability to work from or be based out of Silver Spring, Maryland, with hybrid and in-person participation as required.
