Analyst - Accounting and Finance (Manufacturing)

Location: Liberty, North Carolina, United States. The role requires existing authorization to work in the United States; employment-based visa or work authorization sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Lead month-end, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities, including accruals, journal entries, reporting, and analysis.
• Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
• Perform variance analysis and communicate business drivers, risks, opportunities, and emerging trends.
• Support product and business unit cost management, supplier cost analysis, sourcing activities, and cost competitiveness initiatives.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Procurement, Product Planning, Engineering, and leadership teams on operational, investment, and new product decisions.
• Develop standardized processes, reports, and analytics to improve decision-making and Battery Manufacturing performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience in FP&A, accounting, manufacturing finance, cost management, or a related function.
• Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ability to analyze complex financial and operational data and develop actionable recommendations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools, including the ability to create reports, models, and dashboards.
• Strong communication, business partnering, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills, with a continuous improvement mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience in manufacturing, automotive, battery, or industrial operations finance.
• Knowledge of product costing, procurement analysis, capital investment evaluation, or new product planning.
• Experience with SAP, BPC, Hyperion, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, or other ERP and business intelligence systems.
• Experience preparing executive presentations, financial storytelling, and management reporting.
