What you will do

• Own the creative direction and output of the YouTube Shorts presence.
• Generate, pitch, and develop high-impact concepts for vertical video.
• Lead a creative team and direct a dedicated writers room.
• Manage the full creative lifecycle from brainstorming through post-mortem evaluation.
• Direct and film short-form content while managing high-volume production schedules.
• Collaborate with social analytics, creative, production, and social teams to turn platform insights into executable content.

Requirements

• Platform-native fluency in YouTube Shorts and a clear understanding of vertical versus horizontal content.
• Proven experience producing vertical content that performs for a creator, brand, agency, or personal channel.
• Direct experience filming and directing short-form content.
• Experience collaborating with prominent talent, creators, or celebrities.
• Strong creative instincts, clear pitching skills, and the ability to maintain quality at speed.
• Comfort working in a high-pressure, feedback-rich environment.
