hirify.global is hiring for a flexible freelance translation opportunity supporting English-to-Danish content projects.

What you will do

  • Translate written content from English into natural, accurate Danish.
  • Preserve the original meaning, tone, context, and cultural intent.
  • Proofread and edit translations for grammar, spelling, punctuation, formatting, consistency, and readability.
  • Follow translation guidelines and deliver publication-ready content by agreed deadlines.
  • Communicate about project requirements, timelines, clarifications, feedback, and revisions.

Requirements

  • Native-level Danish proficiency with excellent grammar, spelling, vocabulary, and written communication.
  • Strong written and spoken English for accurate English-to-Danish translation.
  • Proven ability to preserve the meaning and tone of source content.
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability in meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with a reliable internet connection.

Nice to have

  • Previous translation or freelance translation experience.
  • Experience translating marketing, business, website, or digital content.
  • Experience with translation tools or platforms.
  • Familiarity with localization for Danish audiences.
  • Portfolio or examples of English-to-Danish translation work.
