Software Engineer Intern (Game Development - Sports & Active Play)

Location: Hong Kong. Full-time internship from June 1, 2027 to August 31, 2027.

What you will do

• Design and build responsive sports controls using motion algorithms, signal processing, and physics-based simulation.
• Develop, test, and iterate production game features for sports, simulation, arcade, and competitive experiences.
• Build Connected Play features by processing motion input and synchronizing gameplay across devices in real time.
• Research and prototype new game ideas and create tools that improve game development workflows.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and artists through implementation, playtesting, technical discussions, and code reviews.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited college or university.
• Solid foundation in software development.
• Passion for games and curiosity about what makes them fun.
• Strong communication, collaboration, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take pride in producing high-quality work.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Unity.
• Passion for sports and active play, with an interest in creating games that encourage movement.
