Associate Software Engineer - Intern (Java/C++): Building next-generation transportation and logistics software for the marine industry with an accent on full-stack development, test-driven development, and end-to-end feature ownership. What you will do
- Collaborate with a Product Manager, lead developer, and QA lead in an Agile team.
- Build new product features for global customers using test-driven development.
- Develop across the full stack, from frontend to backend.
- Own functionality end to end through architecture, design, implementation, testing, maintenance, and support.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle and share knowledge of new technologies.
Requirements
- B.E. or B.Tech degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Object-oriented programming skills in Java and/or C++.
- Experience with RDBMS and SQL, including Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
- Knowledge of design patterns and data structures, with strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience building enterprise or web applications.
- Knowledge of the Java and JEE ecosystem, including JDBC, JMX, JPA, and JMS.
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, application servers, REST APIs, and Spring.
- Experience contributing to open-source projects.
