What you will do
- Coordinate building and grounds maintenance needs with the Operations team.
- Monitor the operation and proper use of equipment and facility systems.
- Control department budgets, spending, spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment inventory.
- Coach, train, and develop Facilities Associates and Porters while driving engagement.
- Delegate maintenance tasks, follow up on completion, and ensure adequate staffing and equipment.
- Maintain safety, health, environmental, and regulatory compliance across maintenance operations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of facilities management experience in a large or multi-unit venue.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certificate and two years of documented HVAC or electrical journeyman-level experience.
- Knowledge of welding, soldering, building maintenance, construction, and mechanical and electrical equipment repair.
- Clean driving record and strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to perform extended physical work in extreme weather.
