Location: David Blackwell Hall, Berkeley, California; onsite
Compensation: $37.00 per hour

What you will do
- Coordinate, support, and train the residential maintenance team while helping ensure timely completion and close-out of work orders.
- Perform maintenance work orders, inspections, preventive maintenance, and property turn activities.
- Coordinate outside vendors, escort vendors onsite, support vendor agreements, and assist with contract and invoice processing.
- Ensure safe operation, compliance, maintenance, and training for facilities equipment and systems in line with health, safety, and OSHA requirements.
- Manage inventory, tools, maintenance supplies, equipment orders, key control, and the cleanliness of shop and storage areas.
- Support property operations in the absence of the supervisor and coordinate services such as landscaping and snow removal.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of proven experience in residential facilities maintenance.
- Experience as a maintenance or facilities technician and a foundation in maintenance operations.
- Ability to perform work orders consistently while coordinating and supporting other maintenance team members.
- HVAC certification preferred.
- CPO certification preferred where applicable.
- Ability to work onsite in Berkeley, California.
