Associate Creative Director, Design

Location: San Francisco, Los Angeles, Portland, OR, or Austin, TX. Onsite work is required five days per week for 2–3 months at a time on specific projects; remote work is available during other periods.

Base compensation: $160,000–$190,000 per year.

What you will do

• Oversee end-to-end digital website project execution for a major creative technology client.
• Design conceptual, on-brand digital experiences while maintaining pixel-perfect execution within a rigorous product environment.
• Partner with clients to understand and challenge their needs, align on a creative direction, and present design work to senior stakeholders.
• Guide Designers and Art Directors in developing clear concepts, innovative UX, art direction, and appropriate tone and voice.
• Collaborate with design, copy, motion, production, account, and other cross-functional leads to prioritize work and resources.
• Track the competitive creative landscape and apply best-in-class design thinking across channels.

Requirements

• Significant experience in digital design and art direction.
• Ability to create pixel-perfect designs and innovate within an established product environment.
• Strong collaboration, communication, client management, and presentation skills.
• Experience managing or mentoring designers from junior through senior levels, including reviews and talent development.
• Ability to work onsite five days per week for 2–3 months at a time when required by specific projects.
