TL;DR
Cloud Architect/Senior Consultant (VMware & Nutanix HCI): Defining and governing HCI requirements, service scopes, and delivery outcomes for Nutanix and VMware platforms with an accent on enterprise infrastructure, resilience, lifecycle management, and SD-WAN integration. Focus on leading customer discovery, validating architectural intent, ensuring Day-2 operational readiness, and aligning delivered solutions with agreed scope.
Location: Košice, Slovakia; remote work is available only within Slovakia
Salary: Base salary from €2,200 gross per month, plus variable compensation and other financial benefits. A €5,000 sign-on bonus is included in the role title.

What you will do
- Lead structured customer discovery and capture business drivers, workload requirements, operational expectations, constraints, and dependencies.
- Translate customer intent into defined HCI and SD-WAN-related service scopes, success criteria, and engagement boundaries.
- Provide architects with validated requirements and participate in design reviews to ensure alignment with agreed intent.
- Validate that delivered outcomes meet approved scope, architectural intent, service definitions, and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure monitoring, lifecycle, scaling, support, and handover requirements are ready for stable Day-2 operations.
- Support technical pre-sales, service descriptions, delivery templates, and portfolio development for Sovereign Infrastructure and HCI offerings.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience with HCI architectures across on-premises, edge, and private cloud environments.
- 3–5 years of experience positioning and governing Nutanix HCI solutions, including AOS, AHV, and Prism.
- 3–5 years of working knowledge of VMware Cloud Foundation, including vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and SDDC lifecycle management.
- Understanding of enterprise networking, SD-WAN, operational requirements, and Ansible-based infrastructure automation.
- Experience leading customer discovery, defining service scopes, and aligning customer intent, architecture, and delivered outcomes.
- English at B2+ level and mandatory VCP-VCF and NCP-MCI certifications.
