VP, Product Design (AI)

Location: 100% remote for candidates based in the United States or Canada; regular travel is required.

Salary: $270,000–$295,000 USD annual base salary, with potential variable pay and restricted stock for eligible U.S. roles.

hirify.global Media Company develops a sports-focused consumer app and digital media product.

What you will do

• Define the product vision and create working prototypes and opinionated concepts for the next-generation sports app.
• Partner with the CPO, VP of Engineering, VP of Data, and other leaders to shape product strategy, priorities, and metrics.
• Lead hands-on design craft by reviewing user flows, working in Figma, and prototyping alongside the design team.
• Define an AI-native approach to design tools, workflows, and team structure.
• Build, coach, and manage a design organization of approximately 10 people with clear accountability.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, data, marketing, commercial, and other leadership functions.

Requirements

• Strong passion for sports and regular use of sports products.
• Senior-level design leadership experience with recent hands-on personal work.
• Experience leading a design organization through a major change in operating model, ideally involving AI tooling and workflows.
• Experience shipping a consumer product at scale.
• Strong opinions about habit-forming sports or comparable consumer products, with the ability to defend them with product and engineering leaders.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous environments.
