TL;DR
Data Analyst I (Healthcare): Building and maintaining performance reports, dashboards, and operational workflows for value-based cardiology programs with an accent on payer performance, clinical quality metrics, and data accuracy. Focus on validating fragmented healthcare data, investigating discrepancies, and improving reporting reliability across care operations.

Location: Remote within the United States; must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship. Work during ET or CT hours is required, and periodic travel to practice sites or Chamber offices may be required.

What you will do

  • Support daily, weekly, and monthly performance reporting for payer programs.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and scorecards in Retool and BI tools to track leading indicators, SLA pacing, and operational performance.
  • Pull, validate, and quality-assure data from operational systems before reporting it to leadership.
  • Support clinical performance reporting for medication adherence, post-discharge visits, care gaps, HEDIS, and Stars measures.
  • Investigate missed targets, unexpected trends, data discrepancies, and reporting issues to identify root causes.
  • Build and maintain workflows, lists, and reporting-ready data as programs and contracts evolve.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • At least one year of externship or work experience.
  • Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • Strong Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, and data cleaning.
  • Basic SQL knowledge or the ability to learn quickly.
  • Familiarity with BI and dashboarding tools such as Retool, Power BI, Tableau, or QuickSight, plus strong attention to data accuracy.

Nice to have

  • Experience in analytics, data, or operations, including internships, co-ops, or relevant academic projects.
  • Healthcare, payer, provider, health tech, or value-based care experience.
  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Exposure to Python for data work, including pandas, scripting, or automation.
  • Experience documenting work, communicating clearly, taking initiative, and owning recurring deliverables.
