What you will do
- Plan, maintain, and execute a digital editorial calendar aligned with missions, program milestones, and company goals.
- Manage daily content across X, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Bluesky, subscriber newsletters, and emerging platforms.
- Capture, package, and publish real-time coverage of launches, hot fires, spacecraft deployments, trade shows, and major milestones.
- Partner with engineers, mission operators, production teams, and media producers to translate complex technical achievements into accessible content.
- Monitor analytics, identify trends, test AI tools and new formats, and optimize reach and engagement across organic and paid campaigns.
- Draft, shoot, edit, and publish content while maintaining ’s quality, technical accuracy, and brand voice.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience running high-growth, high-engagement social channels and digital campaigns for a fast-moving brand.
- A portfolio demonstrating campaigns personally built and executed.
- Experience with both organic and paid social campaigns and strategies.
- Flexibility to travel and support onsite activations, events, and changing launch schedules across time zones.
- For New Zealand roles, background and nationality checks apply because the position involves access to equipment and data regulated under ITAR.
- Eligibility may depend on citizenship of Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, a European Union country, or a NATO country, subject to ITAR requirements.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Ability to turn complex ideas into concise, witty, and accurate copy.
- Photo and video capture skills, including mobile editing.
- Experience in aerospace, defence, motorsport, technology, or a startup environment.
- Interest in space exploration and technology.
