TL;DR
Technical Consultant (SQL) (HR Technology/Public Sector): Designing and optimizing SQL-based solutions for the HRnet platform, supporting integrations and data migration with an accent on Microsoft SQL Server, database development, and client-facing consulting. Focus on troubleshooting implementation and support issues, translating public-sector requirements into technical solutions, and collaborating with developers, analysts, and clients.
Location: Zagreb, Croatia; 5 days per week onsite at client locations

What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain technical solutions within a web-based HR application.
- Create and optimize SQL procedures, scripts, and database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server.
- Support system integrations and data migration projects for new and existing clients.
- Collaborate with developers, consultants, business analysts, and clients to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during implementation and support.
Requirements
- Experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
- Strong SQL and database development skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Professional working proficiency in Croatian and English.
- Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a collaborative environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with data migration and system integration projects.
- Knowledge of HR, payroll, or workforce management processes.
- Previous experience in software implementation, consulting, or enterprise business applications.
