Head of Compliance Architecture (Fintech)

What you will do

• Lead architecture across financial crimes, regulatory compliance, and regulatory change portfolios, including AML, KYC, sanctions screening, fraud prevention, surveillance, and GRC capabilities.
• Define target-state architecture, portfolio roadmaps, modernization strategies, engineering standards, and governance processes across SaaS, cloud-native, hybrid, and on-premise environments.
• Design enterprise integration patterns connecting payment, trading, onboarding, sanctions screening, data management, regulatory reporting, and operational platforms.
• Govern enterprise data architecture, including acquisition, transformation, lineage, quality, analytics, reporting, and AI enablement.
• Drive resiliency, disaster recovery, high availability, observability, DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure-as-code, and software lifecycle governance.
• Advise executive leadership and partner with Product, Compliance, Risk, Audit, Cyber Security, Infrastructure, Data Management, and Engineering organizations.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of progressively responsible experience in enterprise architecture, software engineering, data architecture, or technology leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Extensive knowledge of enterprise architecture, distributed systems, cloud-native technologies, financial services technology, regulatory technology, and modern software engineering.
• Expertise in at least two of the following areas: financial crimes compliance, regulatory compliance, or regulatory change and GRC platforms.
• Experience with cloud and hybrid platforms, microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, containers, PCF/Kubernetes, Snowflake, Databricks, data platforms, resiliency, and DevSecOps.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.
