University Graduate – Data Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Follow an 18-month graduate programme with three dynamic rotations, including an international assignment.
• Develop into a Data Engineer through a structured learning path, mentoring, and coaching.
• Work on business-critical data and analytics solutions that support regulatory reporting, risk management, and business decisions.
• Build expertise in SQL, Python, data modelling, and modern data engineering practices.
• Contribute to meaningful projects and build a foundation for a long-term career in data, analytics, and financial services.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field, with strong academic results.
• Graduated within the last 12 months.
• Initial practical experience through internships, student projects, research, or entry-level roles in data engineering, analytics, software development, or related technology fields.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases; exposure to Python, data warehousing, or business intelligence tools is advantageous.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, proactive problem-solving approach, strong interpersonal skills, and willingness to learn.
• Fluent written and spoken English and eligibility to work in Luxembourg and/or the country where the position is based are required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of German and/or French.
• Experience with data warehousing or business intelligence tools.
