SDET Engineer

TL;DR

SDET Engineer (QA Testing/AI): Developing and extending automated test frameworks and quality practices for a SaaS platform focused on government ERP and AI solutions with an accent on test automation, performance testing, and collaboration with product and engineering teams. Focus on designing scalable test frameworks, improving testing effectiveness, and mentoring junior engineers.

Location: Remote with offices in San Francisco, Atlanta, Boston, Buenos Aires, Chicago, Dubuque, Plano, and Pune

What you will do

• Drive quality strategy and continuous improvement for the team
• Develop automated tests for regression, feature, and performance testing
• Collaborate closely with developers and product managers on quality practices
• Perform manual and exploratory testing as needed
• Mentor junior engineers and foster continuous learning
• Use observability insights to improve testing effectiveness and quality

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 6+ years industry experience including 2 years as SDET or test automation engineer
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or other OOP languages
• Experience with test automation frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, Selenium
• Experience with automated testing of REST/GraphQL services and microservices
• Good understanding of CI/CD tools and deployment cycles

Nice to have

• Experience with load/performance testing (k6 preferred)
• Experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions
• Experience in GovTech or FinTech domains
