Senior Risk Manager (Fintech)

What you will do

• Build and maintain hirify.global’s Kuwait risk management framework across enterprise and credit risk.
• Develop local risk strategy, risk appetite, policies, limits, governance forums, and management reporting.
• Own enterprise risk processes, including risk assessments, risk registers, KRIs, emerging-risk reviews, and remediation tracking.
• Provide independent risk challenge for products, partnerships, customer journeys, operating models, and other material initiatives.
• Lead credit risk oversight across underwriting, eligibility, affordability, credit limits, collections, and portfolio quality.
• Support licensing, regulatory submissions, examinations, business continuity, outsourcing risk, operational incidents, and control assessments.

Requirements

• Strong risk management experience in banking, fintech, consumer lending, payments, or another regulated financial-services environment.
• Hands-on experience across both enterprise risk and credit risk, including frameworks, policies, risk appetite, governance, reporting, and controls.
• Knowledge of consumer credit risk, underwriting, credit policy, portfolio monitoring, collections performance, and loss drivers.
• Understanding of enterprise risk disciplines, including KRIs, risk and control assessments, operational resilience, third-party risk, incidents, and emerging risks.
• Understanding of the Kuwait regulatory environment and experience with the Central Bank of Kuwait or another GCC financial-services regulator.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Business, Mathematics, or a related field; professional fluency in English is required.

Nice to have

• FRM, PRM, CFA, or a comparable qualification.
• Arabic language skills.
