Design Manager, Footwear Sportstyle - W/M

Location: Paris, France, within the new Creative Hub; travel to manufacturing sites in Asia, key markets in Asia, the US and Europe, and Fashion Weeks is required.

hirify.global is a mountain sports brand within Amer Sports, creating footwear, apparel and equipment for outdoor and performance activities.

What you will do

• Define and lead the design strategy and creative vision for the Sportstyle footwear perimeter.
• Ensure creative coherence, brand expression and stylistic consistency across footwear projects and collections.
• Translate business needs, market insights and consumer behavior into design directions, briefs and product concepts.
• Plan resources, budgets and designer allocation, and lead design validation sessions.
• Guide teams on 2D and 3D concepts, color proposals, materials, graphics and branding.
• Manage and develop a creative team working across Paris and Annecy while collaborating with Softgoods, 3D and CMF teams.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Design preferred.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in footwear product design and development.
• Proven experience directly managing creative teams and mentoring designers at different seniority levels.
• Strong understanding of contemporary design, market dynamics, consumer needs and behaviors.
• Strong knowledge of urban aesthetics, sport-lifestyle, sneaker culture, fashion, collaborations and street trends.
• Fluent English is mandatory; proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong command of 2D/3D design software are required.
