Embedded Software Engineer

Location: Athens, Greece; onsite, remote work is not available

What you will do

• Develop software in line with the SDK vision and roadmap in collaboration with software architects.
• Write, test, document, and maintain embedded software.
• Own software quality and verify deliverables against specifications and requirements.
• Plan and prioritize personal tasks, contribute to software planning, and report progress to the project leader.
• Mentor, coach, and supervise technical tasks for junior team members.

Requirements

• University degree and 2–3 years of embedded software development experience.
• Strong C programming skills and experience developing software for deeply embedded platforms.
• Experience with 8-bit to 32-bit RISC processor architectures, including ARM and ARM Cortex.
• Competence in software engineering, coding, testing, and verification against specifications.
• Ability to use oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
• Knowledge of Agile development, software testing, and source control tools such as Bitbucket, Git, or SVN.

Nice to have

• Experience with Zephyr RTOS or multithreaded micro-kernel RTOS.
• Contributions to the open-source software community.
• Knowledge of Bluetooth Low Energy.
• Understanding of security and cryptography concepts.
