Location: Fully remote with core collaboration hours from 12:00–6:00 PM Manila Time (UTC+8); hybrid work and company-sponsored trips to Manila are also mentioned.

What you will do
- Test end-to-end payment processing flows across APIs and ISO 8583 messages, including authorizations, reversals, reconciliation, clearing, and settlement.
- Run manual and automated tests across processing platforms, ATM middleware, HSM/RKL, acquiring, anti-fraud, and core banking integrations.
- Design, maintain, and execute functional, integration, regression, certification, and release tests.
- Build automated API tests and validate business rules, message fields, response codes, data consistency, and failure scenarios.
- Coordinate UAT and payment scheme certification with external processing vendors and payment schemes.
- Monitor production stability, investigate incidents, document defects, and verify fixes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, QA Automation Engineer, or SDET in fintech, banking, or payment processing.
- Experience testing complex integrations involving processors, switches, payment networks, or ATM, POS, and e-commerce acquiring.
- Knowledge of ISO 8583 and the payment transaction lifecycle.
- Strong hands-on experience with API testing, test automation, and SQL.
- Experience with integration, regression, end-to-end, and release testing.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
Nice to have
- Experience with HSM, Remote Key Loading, core banking integrations, or payment scheme certification.
- Experience with performance and load testing.
- Familiarity with microservices, AWS, EKS, production monitoring, GitLab, GitOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience testing ATM, POS, or e-commerce acquiring solutions.
