Software Engineer IV – Java Full Stack (Java/Spring/React): Designing and delivering secure, scalable digital banking features for highly transactional financial systems with an accent on API-first architecture, microservices, and cloud-native development. What you will do
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain secure full-stack digital banking solutions.
- Implement production-ready features and scalable services using Java and modern frameworks.
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, and engineers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Create technical documentation, system diagrams, proof-of-concepts, and debugging reports.
- Conduct code reviews, monitor delivery and system metrics, and optimize performance.
- Participate in Agile planning, Scrum events, product demos, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- 9+ years of experience developing and designing software applications with Java.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, concurrent programming, object-oriented design, and highly transactional systems.
- Experience with Java EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring WebFlux, Hibernate, NestJS, Oracle, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, Git, Maven, and React.
- Experience with microservices, API-first development, Apigee API Gateway, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud environments, and Java application servers such as Apache Tomcat.
- Experience with Agile Scrum, SAFe, continuous integration systems such as Jenkins or GitLab CI, and secure-by-design development.
Nice to have
- Experience with GitHub CI, test-driven development, or automated mobile testing tools.
- Cross-functional DevOps and CI/CD expertise.
- Experience with AI-enabled development tools such as Cursor or GitHub Copilot.
