Senior Software Engineer (Retail Demo)

Location: Hong Kong. Rare international travel to the EU, Japan, or the US may be required. Collaboration across time zones uses clearly defined overlap windows.

What you will do

• Own the retail demo software stack, including firmware, launcher software, individual game demos, analytics, and deployment components.
• Plan, implement, and deploy retail demo software across different sites and retail fixtures.
• Improve the in-store retail demo experience in collaboration with design and other game development teams.
• Coordinate launch schedules, software readiness, updates, and deployment plans with program managers and retail operations.
• Refresh content with new game launches, promotions, and other hirify.global information.
• Create scalable standard operating procedures and work closely with QA to ensure stable, robust demos.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Unity game development.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience deploying large-scale systems with server and client components.
• Experience collaborating with multiple teams to deliver projects.
• Strong empathy for users and potential customers.
