Community Moderator (US)

Location: Makati, Philippines; hybrid work arrangement. Fixed coverage shifts align with US Central Time: Sunday–Thursday, approximately 8am–4pm CT, or Tuesday–Saturday, approximately 4pm–12am CT.

What you will do

• Review and approve member join requests and verify eligibility before granting access.
• Review member posts, monitor comments and moderation alerts, and keep private Facebook groups safe and supportive.
• Respond to routine questions, direct members to relevant resources, and escalate billing, shipping, prescription, CX, safety, medical, and reputational issues.
• Remove spam, misinformation, harassment, and other policy violations while de-escalating conflicts empathetically.
• Maintain accurate member records, document moderation actions and escalations, and complete shift handoffs.
• Share recurring trends and insights with the Community and CX teams.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in customer care, community moderation, social media support, or a related field.
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to adapt tone across different situations.
• Ability to handle sensitive health and weight-loss conversations empathetically without giving medical advice.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail when maintaining records and following documented protocols.
• Availability for one of the two fixed coverage shifts aligned with US Central Time.
• Interest in health and wellness; healthcare industry experience is beneficial.
