Database Administrator (Payments)

What you will do

• Maintain, monitor, and support production and development databases and environments.
• Troubleshoot database integrity, performance, blocking, deadlock, replication, connectivity, security, and resource contention issues.
• Implement high-availability solutions using backups, restores, clustering, availability groups, replication, and log shipping.
• Install and configure SQL Servers, apply patches and updates, and plan storage and partitioning.
• Write, optimize, and maintain stored procedures and T-SQL queries, including index and integrity management.
• Partner with developers and operations teams on database design, change scripts, automation, and optimized read/write data models.

Requirements

• Experience in payments, fintech, or financial services, particularly in PCI DSS-regulated environments.
• Proficiency in SQL scripting and payment-data analysis with PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server.
• Experience with .NET and C#.
• Experience with Jira, source control systems, and browser consoles.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple departments while managing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Understanding of online entertainment and the gambling industry.
